How does this time of year make you feel? 🤔🎁

For me, it's a mix of emotions. I enjoy the twinkling lights, cozy candles, and cheesy Hallmark movies. But as someone who typically spends the holidays solo, I have to challenge the imposed notions of how we're "supposed to" celebrate to avoid feeling like I'm doing something wrong or missing out.

What is Imposter Syndrome? If you haven’t heard the term “Imposter Syndrome” before, either you’ve managed to escape its grip, or you haven’t known the term to describe the crippling self-doubt that comes with putting yourself out there. So, before we discuss how to overcome Imposter Syndrome, let’s define it.

Imposter Syndrome is the idea that you’re a “fraud” amongst professionals. You haven’t earned the success you’re achieving. Or you never will experience any success because you don’t know what you’re doing, and soon enough, everyone else will find that out, too.

I have been there. Starting my business was me being and feeling like the biggest Imposter. Cue the fake glasses, big nose, and mustache costume. That’s exactly how I felt.

The thing is, everyone feels this way. But guess what? It is absolutely possible to get over this crippling self-doubt. Learn more in my blog!

As someone who experienced a serious eating disorder, a major lesson in my healing journey that I continue to practice today is not to look at food with an all or nothing approach.🚫🙅‍♀️

Food does not need to be considered good or bad. What's important is to make eating choices based on how that food will make us feel. 💛

As we approach the Holiday Season, I hope this blog serves as a reminder to Eat the F&%king Candy, or whatever it is you want!

How many times have you deprived yourself from eating what you really want only to binge or “ruin” your diet on it later? Just eat the candy!
