At Cogir of Northgate Memory Care, our activity team turned an ordinary day into a cozy adventure with our Lantern Lights & Lunar Nights Indoor Camping Experience. ❤️✨

Residents gathered beneath the glow of lanterns, sharing stories of horses and past visits to China. Our afternoon was filled with laughter, music, and learning about cultural traditions connected to the moon and much more.

From peaceful moments of relaxation, being together, and creating new memories - celebrating the Chinese Lunar New Year was a beautiful experience. ❤️✨

✨On Fat Tuesday, our community let the good times roll. During the week we dove into the rich traditions of Mardi Gras learning all about the history of New Orleans and taking a peak into where Louis Armstrong grew up.🎶 We enjoyed creating masks worthy of a Bourbon Street parade. One of our residents even educated us on the Hurricane beverage... sounds just as intense as the exciting brass bands marching through the streets! 🎶. 💜💛💚
