For the last 30 or so years I have been dedicated to personal and spiritual growth. In that time, I have explored quite a gamut of systems, teachers and approaches. From my experience, here is what to look for when choosing a spiritual path:
1. It has the ability to help you develop true inner empowerment and spiritual evolution.
2. There is a clear path of progression. A path to lead you from one stage of development to another that is able to meet you where you are and take you further than you could go on your own.
3. Clean vertical alignment. There is a clear and clean higher spiritual energy made more accessible to you. An energy free of egoic contamination and other energetic distortions.
4. There is nothing placed between you and your connection to God. For example you do not become dependent on a guru/teacher, a plant or substance.
5. There are tools you can directly apply to your life. Not just a “high” when you attend.
6. There are tools to help you identify and alchemize your subconscious and shadow.
7. You can see and experience lasting and tangible fruits of change and transformation as a result of participating.
