We’re back together for our 2026 monthly(ish) CE gatherings that were once lovingly called Toolbox Tuesday, which are now (just as lovingly named) Workshop Wednesday (nicknamed WoWe).

New name, new day of the week, same mission: To travel the tendrils of curiosity that fringe around the Being of a bodyworker.
There is a heart and a mission that calls us to this work. There is the courage it takes to show up to work everyday. And these WoWe’s are a source of nourishment for our heavy-lifting healer selves.

It’s a 2-4 hour session each time. It’s not enough time to certify in something. But it’s plenty of time to get very specific on all sorts of interesting topics. It’s plenty of time to feel enlivened through discovery and enlightened by new ideas. We can travel up a narrow path of thought or practice, still with enough time to smell the flowers.

For our February launch, we explored the art/wisdom/science/skill of Therapeutic Communication & Rebooking Practices. I gathered together and led the curriculum, but the circle was quickly filled with the valuable wisdom of everyone in attendance.

I’ll protect some trade secrets, but know this: There is SO MUCH skill involved in bringing a sense of true connection & safety into a session. And here, in this special February circle, we worked on some of these many parts. Some were new, some were rusty and some were plain scary.

This is the sacred work of creating connection that is trustworthy.

We are so grateful to share it with you.

The perfect date: Massages in a beautiful sanctuary, in a walkable neighborhood with interesting houses & scenery, near a village
of excellent restaurants.

On Saturday 2/14, we have just 3 available sessions where 2 people can start at the same time. These will be available for a very short time.

You can book them online by choosing the available therapists, Abbie & Milo, or call/text us and we will help you out.

When things feel heavy, having a safe place to rest, breathe & connect to yourself can make a difference.

Tomorrow, January 30th, we will be open. We’re intentionally holding space as a place to feel grounded, supported, and regulated.

Still, our hearts remain with our communities near and far across this country who are grieving and living in fear.

We want to show up for those who are organizing for justice and accountability, and so we will donate 20% of tomorrow’s proceeds to .

Today was our annual all-hands meeting. It’s our chance to discuss housekeeping items as a group, but more importantly, a chance to expand our understanding of each other and to grow our own practices through conversation as a team.

I am always impressed by the insight of every therapist here, and by how we teach each other through sharing our own wisdom and experiences. I think I can speak for all of us who attended in saying that these meetings make an impactful difference in the work we do and in how we see our colleagues.

Of note, we renewed our commitment to how we create a safe and neutral space for all of our clients. We protect privacy. We respect autonomy. We provide care without judgment. It is our highest value to make this a place our clients can feel safe in and trust—especially now.

For September’s Toolbox Tuesday, it was a joy and an honor to have Dawn Schmidt return.

Dawn has been a mentor to many of us throughout our careers, and she puts some skill sets into words like no one else can. She teaches listening & flow that brings a therapist into present awareness that is equally powerful to both client & therapist.

We focused on the diaphragm, chest & belly.-An area that is commonly ignored in sessions, but vitally important to a client’s sense of who they are in their body. If you haven’t received work in this area before, it is often discovered as a missing piece.

New Therapist Announcement: Welcome, Sharon! We are so glad that you are here.

With over 20 years experience as a massage therapist, you are most definitely in good hands. Using highly skilled therapeutic massage techniques alongside subtle energy work and a trauma-informed somatic background, her sessions guide you to a place of gentle curiosity with yourself and your physical experience. Taking a whole body approach, she works to, above all, soothe the nervous system, which allows for deep relaxation and healing on many levels.

She is here on Sundays beginning this weekend (9/14).

You’re invited!
