“Here’s to strong bodies, strong friendships, and the strength we find in each other.” ❤️ Thank you YMCA of the Chesapeake , Thank you Queen Anne County YMCA, and Thank you Dottie!!

At the YMCA, Enhance®Fitness is so much more than an exercise class—it’s a place where strength is built, confidence grows, and friendships become family. Our Queen Anne’s County YMCA Enhance®Fitness group is a beautiful example of that spirit.

This week, our EF community came together to say goodbye to a beloved YMCA staff member, friend, and fellow participant, Dottie Skocic. Dottie brought warmth, laughter, and kindness to every class, and her presence made our circle stronger. As we lifted weights and worked on balance, she lifted hearts.

To our Queen Anne’s County EF participants: thank you for showing what it means to care for one another—in class, in the community, and through every season of life.

Here’s to strong bodies, strong friendships, and the strength we find in each other.

Yes, the days are getting shorter. Yes, the weekdays are busy. But getting outside — even for a few minutes — is always worth it.
