We’re excited to share that Nisan Harel has been appointed as our new Chief Executive Officer!
Nisan is familiar to many, as his 17 years at Era Living have included community leadership as Executive Director and most recently as Chief Operating Officer. Our art exhibition entitled "Like Mother" concludes this Sunday and includes “Sentimental Journey” from artist Jennifer Carroll. "My mother is Maxine Billinda Root Carroll. She is an angel-mommy to 7 birth children, 4 adopted children, 13 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and, seriously, a bazillion others who call her “Mom,” “Bo,” and “Grammy.” I suffer from the other half of my genetic material but comfort myself that her sweet blood still runs in my veins. She is a fountain of love and positivity bordering on insanity. If you ever meet her, you will meet your long-lost best friend."

Our Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser raised over $2,600 in support of the Washington State Council of Firefighters Cancer Foundation. We celebrated our dear friends from King County Fire District 20, and Santa Claus made a special appearance from the North Pole. Executive Director Chris even got "pied" as a raffle prize for this wonderful cause!
