This is so cool!

Taiwanese researchers discovered acupuncture triggering stem cell release healing damaged organs naturally. Scientists at China Medical University found that electroacupuncture at specific meridian points stimulates bone marrow to release mesenchymal stem cells into circulation, which then migrate to injured organs and promote tissue repair. This mechanism explains acupuncture's therapeutic effects through measurable biological processes rather than placebo.

Traditional Chinese medicine has used acupuncture for thousands of years, but Western medicine dismissed it as placebo due to lack of biological mechanism. Taiwanese researchers using advanced imaging and cellular tracking discovered that needle stimulation at specific points triggers measurable stem cell mobilization—providing the first clear biological explanation for acupuncture's effects.

Electroacupuncture (needles with mild electrical current) at ST36 (Zusanli point) and GV20 (Baihui point) causes a 300% increase in circulating stem cells within 24 hours. These mobilized stem cells express homing signals drawing them to damaged tissues—injured liver, heart, kidneys, or brain—where they differentiate into organ-specific cells and release healing factors. It's like acupuncture triggers the body's internal repair dispatch system.

Stroke patients receiving electroacupuncture within 48 hours of stroke showed 40% better functional recovery than those receiving standard care alone. Liver cirrhosis patients showed reduced fibrosis markers. Heart attack survivors demonstrated improved cardiac function. The mechanism is entirely biological—traced stem cells from bone marrow to damaged organs. Skeptical Western physicians are reconsidering acupuncture given this mechanistic evidence. We're discovering that ancient healing practices work through sophisticated biological mechanisms science is only now capable of detecting.

Your body isn’t broken.
And this season of change isn’t a punishment.

Perimenopause often gets labeled as “horrible,” “out of control,” or “something to push through.” But what if that story is incomplete?

What if your body is doing exactly what it’s designed to do —
communicating.

Joint aches, disrupted sleep, mood shifts, brain fog, energy dips — these aren’t random. They’re messages. Signals asking for support, not silence.

When we slow down and listen, patterns emerge:
• Missing key nutrients
• Eating at times that don’t support hormone rhythm
• Stress signals overpowering recovery
• A nervous system that needs steadiness, not force

This is why I teach the Six Pillars of Hormone Health inside the Hormone Reset — a step-by-step, intuitive approach focused on sustainable changes, not extremes.

No overhaul.
No shame.
No “push harder” mentality.

Just practical support, guidance, and a grounded community walking this season with you.

Because your body isn’t turning against you.
It’s talking to you — and when you listen, you can give it what it actually needs.

⏳ Only 8 days left to join the Hormone Reset.
If this feels like the moment to stop fighting your body and start working with it, you’re right on time.

After 40, your body starts communicating differently.

The restless nights.
The achy joints.
The brain fog that rolls in out of nowhere.
The emotional swings, hot flashes, night sweats.

None of it is random.
And none of it means your body is broken.

What if these changes aren’t signs of failure—but signals asking for support?

Your body doesn’t suddenly turn against you in perimenopause. It speaks more clearly. And when those messages go unanswered, they get louder—not to punish you, but to protect you.

Often, what’s underneath the symptoms is simple and solvable:
• Missing nutrients
• Eating patterns that no longer match your physiology
• Stress and sleep rhythms that need adjustment
• A nervous system asking for steadiness, not force

This season of life isn’t about pushing harder or fixing yourself.
It’s about learning how to listen—and responding with food, lifestyle shifts, and daily practices that bring the body back into balance.

That’s exactly why I created the Six Week Hormone Reset—to guide you step by step, with structure, support, and community, so your body doesn’t have to keep yelling to be heard.

Feeling off lately—but not broken?

If you’re over 40 and noticing brain fog, emotional ups and downs, or moments where you don’t quite recognize yourself, it can feel unsettling—especially when you’re trying to carry it all alone.

Here’s the part many women don’t hear often enough:
These shifts aren’t a failure. They’re a transition.

Your body is moving through a neurological and hormonal upgrade. And while that process is meaningful, it can feel messy—foggy thinking, emotional sensitivity, fatigue, and overwhelm often show up together.

That’s why community matters so much during this season.
Not advice shouted into the void.
Not pushing harder.
But grounded support, shared experience, and steady guidance.

When women move through this phase together, things soften. There’s more clarity, more steadiness, and more room for grace. You don’t have to power through or “fix” yourself—your body already knows what it’s doing.

Sometimes the most supportive thing you can do is let yourself be guided, supported, and reminded that this season has purpose.

You’re not falling apart.
You’re recalibrating—and you don’t have to do it alone.

If you’re ready for support and community during this transition, you can learn more here:

A new year doesn’t ask you to sprint forward.
In Chinese medicine, beginnings are about direction, not force.

Winter is the season of the Kidneys — the root of your energy, resilience, and long-term vitality. It’s a time for intention-setting that comes from listening inward, not pushing harder.

A simple Chinese medicine–inspired practice to start 2026:

Stand or sit comfortably.
Place one hand over your low back (Kidney area) and one over your lower belly.
Take 5 slow breaths, in through the nose and out through the mouth.
With each exhale, silently ask: What does my body need to feel supported this year?

No fixing. No forcing. Just awareness.

When your nervous system feels safe, your energy follows.
And when your energy is steady, change becomes sustainable.

Here’s to a 2026 that begins grounded, intentional, and aligned — from the inside out.

Perimenopause isn’t one single symptom — it’s a season of change. And for many women, that change shows up as disrupted sleep, heightened stress, mood shifts, and feeling more depleted than before.

In my work, I often talk about herbs as supportive tools, not quick fixes. When chosen appropriately, they can gently help the body adapt during this transition.

Some commonly discussed herbs for women in perimenopause include:

• Adaptogenic herbs — such as ashwagandha or rhodiola, often used to support stress resilience and energy regulation

• Nervine herbs — like lemon balm or passionflower, traditionally used to support the nervous system, relaxation, and sleep quality

• Digestive-supporting herbs — including ginger or peppermint, commonly used to support digestion and gut comfort, which are closely tied to hormonal balance

What matters most isn’t the herb alone — it’s context. Your stress levels, sleep, nutrition, and overall health picture all matter when deciding what support makes sense.

Herbs work best when they’re part of a bigger foundation: consistent nourishment, nervous system care, and collaboration with your healthcare provider.

Perimenopause doesn’t require pushing harder.
It asks for smarter, steadier support.

Chinese Medicine FAQs: What Women 40+ Should Know

I get a lot of questions about Chinese medicine — especially from women in their 40s who are navigating perimenopause, shifting energy, sleep changes, digestion issues, and stress that suddenly feels heavier than it used to. Here are some of the most common questions I hear, answered simply and honestly.

What is Chinese medicine, really?
Chinese medicine is a holistic system that looks at how your body functions as a whole — not just isolated symptoms. Instead of asking “What’s wrong?” it asks “What’s out of balance?” and works to support the body’s natural ability to regulate, restore, and adapt.

How is this different from Western medicine?
Western medicine is excellent at diagnosis, testing, and acute care. Chinese medicine focuses more on patterns over time — things like energy levels, sleep quality, digestion, stress resilience, and how your body responds to daily life. These two systems can work together, not against each other.

How can Chinese medicine help women in their 40s?
This stage of life often comes with subtle (and not-so-subtle) changes. Chinese medicine can support energy, sleep, digestion, stress regulation, and the hormonal transitions that come with perimenopause. It’s less about fixing and more about supporting your body through change.

Does nutrition play a role?
Absolutely. Nutrition is a cornerstone of my work. I teach women how to eat in a way that supports blood sugar, digestion, and hormonal balance — without restriction or extremes. In Chinese medicine, food is information, and nourishment is foundational.

Is Chinese medicine safe alongside my doctor’s care?
Yes — and I encourage it. I view Chinese medicine as complementary care that works best when paired with regular physician visits, lab work, and medical guidance.

What’s the biggest benefit I see?
Women begin to trust their bodies again. Symptoms become information, not something to fight. Health starts to feel supportive instead of reactive.

If you’re curious about how nutrition and Chinese medicine can support you during this phase of life, DM “Nutrition” and I’ll reach out to set up a quick chat.
