Two weeks from now could feel very different.

Not in a dramatic, overnight transformation kind of way, but in a quieter, more noticeable shift:

🌙 You’re falling asleep without overthinking it
😴 You’re not waking up at 2–3am every night
✨ Your energy feels more steady throughout the day
🍋 You’re not dealing with that constant bloating by the evening

This is usually the point where my clients say,
“okay… something is actually working”.

And it all comes from supporting a few key things consistently—

✅ your sleep rhythms
✅ your blood sugar
✅ and how your body is handling stress

When those start to stabilize, everything else begins to feel a little easier.

👉 I’ve been putting something together to help guide you through this in a simple, doable way (especially if you’ve been feeling stuck with your energy and sleep lately).

More to come soon 🤍

If this is something you’ve been dealing with, follow along — I’ll be sharing more on this over the next couple of weeks.

More than just nutrition ⤵️

I’m an acupuncturist and functional nutritionist, and I work with women 40+ who feel like their bodies have suddenly changed… without any clear explanation.

The bloating that won’t go away.
The fatigue that hits out of nowhere.
The cravings, the disrupted sleep, the feeling of “what is happening to me?”

Most of the women I work with have already tried doing all the “right” things.

Eating less. Exercising more. Following advice that used to work…but doesn’t anymore.

And that’s usually the moment they realize…
this isn’t about willpower.

It’s about understanding what your body actually needs in this season.

Through both my clinical work and my own experience, I’ve seen how often these symptoms get brushed off or oversimplified.

Nutrition isn’t just about what’s on your plate.

It’s about calming your nervous system, fueling your hormones, and learning what your body needs now.

There’s a different way to approach this.

One that works with your body, not against it 🤍

If this resonates, I’d love to hear what you’ve been experiencing lately.

Feel free to share below or send me a message 💬

This is the part no one warns you about after 40…

You’re not trying to be reactive.
But suddenly your patience is thinner.
Your reactions are faster.
And afterward you’re like… where did that even come from?

It’s not just stress.
Your nervous system is changing—and your “buffer” isn’t working the same way it used to.

The good news?
This isn’t you falling apart.
It’s your system asking for a different kind of support.

Follow me if you want to understand what’s actually happening in your body—and how to work with it instead of against it.

Hormones start communicating long before menopause. Learn how to support your whole body during this sacred time.

04/21/2026

Most hormone imbalances don’t start with big, obvious symptoms.

They start with patterns like:

Waking up around 2–3am
Crashing hard in the afternoon
Feeling bloated by the end of the day
Being wired at night but exhausted in the morning

From a functional nutrition + Chinese medicine perspective, this is often your body struggling to stay stable—especially with blood sugar, stress, and sleep rhythms.

Here are a few simple ways to start supporting that ⤵️

→ Make dinner more substantial
If dinner is light (like a salad or snack), your blood sugar can drop overnight, which is a common reason for 2–3am wakeups

🍚 Try including protein + carbs (like chicken + potatoes or salmon + rice)

→ Don’t wait too long between meals
That 2–4pm crash is often a dip in blood sugar

🍎 A small snack in the afternoon (like yogurt + fruit or an apple with peanut butter) can make a big difference in your evening energy

→ Switch up some of your raw foods
If you’re eating mostly salads or smoothies, try adding in more warm, cooked meals.

In Chinese medicine, this can help support digestion, especially if you’re dealing with bloating later in the day.

→ Get outside within an hour of waking
Even a short walk without sunglasses will help regulate your internal clock, which impacts both energy and sleep.

You don’t need to overhaul everything.

Small, consistent shifts in the right areas can help your body feel more steady again 🤍

I’m putting something together to guide you through this step-by-step (in a way that actually feels doable).

👉 Follow along if this is something you’ve been dealing with — I’ll be sharing more soon.

Hi, I’m Jenna—and over the years, I’ve realized something important about how we approach perimenopause.

A lot of the advice out there focuses on doing more—
more restrictions, more supplements, more trying to “fix” one hormone at a time.

But what I see in my practice (again and again) is something different.

It’s not usually one big issue.

It’s the smaller things that build over time—

sleep getting lighter or more interrupted
energy becoming less consistent
stress feeling harder to recover from
your body just not bouncing back the way it used to

And eventually it starts to feel like: something is off… but it’s hard to explain exactly what.

That’s where I take a different approach.

Instead of trying to override symptoms,
I look at how your body is functioning as a whole—
how your sleep, digestion, stress, and hormones are all interacting behind the scenes.

Because when those systems are supported together,
things start to feel more stable again.

Not perfect. Not overnight.

But more steady, more predictable, and more like yourself.

If you’ve been feeling this shift, you’re not imagining it 🤍

👉 Follow along for a more grounded, realistic approach to supporting your body through this season.

Why are you reacting faster than you used to?

It’s not just stress.
It’s your hormones changing how your brain processes it.

Less buffer.
Faster reactions.

There’s a reason for this — and a way through.

If you know someone struggling with this, share this video with them.

Comment yes if this is familiar to you.

You snapped… and then immediately felt bad about it.

That’s not your personality changing.
That’s your nervous system losing its buffer.

Perimenopause = brain + stress system recalibration.

You’re not broken.
You’re upgrading.

Does this sound familiar? Comment yes below.

There’s a moment that happens every spring…

Where you feel it.

That pull toward change.
Toward growth.
Toward moving forward again.

In Chinese Medicine, this is Wood energy—
the energy of vision, direction, and new beginnings.

When that energy is supported,
you feel clear, motivated, ready to take action.

When it’s not?

You feel stuck.
Overwhelmed.
Unsure where to begin.

So instead of starting… you pause.

Because it feels like you need to:
→ change everything you’re eating
→ follow a strict plan
→ get it all “right”

But you don’t.

You don’t need a full overhaul.
You need a clear direction.

A starting point that supports your body—
your hormones, your energy, your natural rhythm.

✨ That’s exactly what we’re doing inside
Hormone Nutrition Basics (online workshop)

We simplify everything so you know:
→ what to focus on first
→ what actually matters
→ how to support your body in a way that feels steady and sustainable

No extremes.
No starting over.
Just a grounded way forward.

You’re not even stressed… so why does your body feel like this?

You finally sit down to relax
and your brain starts scanning, looping, buzzing…

Nothing is wrong.
But your body didn’t get the memo.

This isn’t you “becoming an anxious person.”
👉 it’s your hormones staying in an activated state.

And once you understand that… everything starts to make sense.

Spring is a time for new beginnings.
Just look outside. 🌿

Nature is a pretty incredible teacher when you pause and pay attention.

And that shift?
It’s not just happening out there.

It’s happening in your body, too.

In Chinese Medicine, spring is connected to the Wood element: the energy of growth, vision, and forward movement.

This is the season of the liver and gallbladder, which help things move smoothly:
→ your energy
→ your emotions
→ your hormones

When this system is supported, you feel clear, motivated, ready.

But when it’s stuck?
You feel irritable.
Restless.
Like something needs to change, but you can’t quite name it.

And here’s the key: Movement isn’t just exercise this time of year.

It’s medicine.

It helps your body do what it’s designed to do…
flow.

After the slower, heavier energy of winter,
it feels good to shake things out.

✨ That’s exactly what we’re doing inside my
Hormone Nutrition Basics Workshop (online)

You’ll learn how to work with your body
using seasonal rhythms + functional nutrition
to feel lighter, brighter, and more energized.

You used to trust your body… so why does it feel so confusing now?

You knew what to eat.
How to move.
What worked for you.

And now it feels like everything changed…
and no one gave you the playbook.

It’s not just you.

Your body did change.

And when you understand how your hormones are working now,
you can actually rebuild that trust again.

✨

if you want to understand what your body needs now.
