Meet Nicole

Catch Her Mondays at 4:45pm - 5:45pm

What inspired you to teach yoga?

I started practicing yoga in 2000, and its impact on my life was so positive and meaningful. Inspired by my teachers, I chose to deepen my practice through teacher training so I could support others on their own paths of connection, self-inquiry, and self-love.

What can students expect from your class?

We live in a culture that does not encourage us to truly know ourselves — let alone LOVE ourselves — so the time we take to show up on our mat is precious. It’s an opportunity to interrupt old habit patterns (physical, mental, and emotional) that no longer serve us, and to consciously shift unkind self-talk into genuine words of love and support. My classes weave together creative, conscientious sequencing with intentional pranayama, mudras, focused awareness, and a gentle reminder not to take ourselves too seriously.

Do you have a favorite mantra or piece of advice?

Don’t compare your practice to anyone else’s. Yoga is an inward journey, and no two bodies, minds, or life experiences are exactly alike. Through yoga, we become more familiar with our patterns and conditioning, peeling back layers of illusion to reconnect with our deepest and truest selves. Comparison pulls us away from our unique work, while presence brings us back to our peaceful center — back home.

What do you enjoy outside of teaching?

I loooooove making stained glass art! I also love practicing yoga, playing harmonium and singing, taking macro photos of flowers, and spending time with my partner, son, and friends. I practice Vipassana meditation as well — it helps me keep my head on straight.

✨ Why Yoga on Beacon?

Because this isn’t your typical studio.

We’re not here for perfection, pressure, or performance. We’re here for real people, real movement, and a space that actually feels good to walk into.

At Yoga on Beacon, classes are intentionally small, the teaching is thoughtful, and the vibe is warm, grounded, and deeply community-centered. Whether you’re stepping onto the mat for the first time or returning to your practice, you’ll be met exactly where you are.

No ego. No intimidation. Just space to breathe, move, and belong.

Come see what makes YoBe different. 💛

Fridays at YoBe just feel different 🤍

They’re slower. Softer. Spacious. A little grounding before the weekend begins.

Whether you’re easing into your morning with 75-minute Gentle Yoga at 9:30am, flowing at 12pm Slow Flow, building heat in our 4:30pm Vinyasa, or fully unwinding in 5:45pm Restorative… there’s a rhythm to the day that lets you meet yourself exactly where you are.

Some of you come to reset after a long week.
Some of you come to reconnect.
Some of you just need a quiet hour on your mat.

Whatever brings you in — we’re here for it.

Come spend your Friday with us at Yoga on Beacon.
Let it be the anchor to your week. ✨

See you on the mat.

Chair Yoga has long been a steady, grounding part of our community at Yoga on Beacon — and we’re continuing the tradition with our Chair Yoga Series starting Wednesday, February 25th at 9:30am with Kate B.

This is a practice rooted in accessibility, strength, and smart movement. Using the chair as support (and sometimes as challenge), we build mobility, balance, and confidence in a way that meets you exactly where you are.

Perfect for:
• Students wanting a supportive format
• Those working with injury or limited mobility
• Anyone returning to movement
• Anyone who appreciates intentional, steady pacing

✨ Wednesdays at 9:30am
✨ Virtual + In Person
✨ Yoga on Beacon | 3063 Beacon Ave S

Chair yoga isn’t an alternative — it’s a powerful practice in its own right. And we’re proud to keep offering it as part of our commitment to inclusive movement for every body.

Come practice with Kate.

Yoga teachers — this is for you 🤍

Join me on Saturday, Feb. 21st from 1:00–3:00pm for a Mandala & Mirroring Workshop at Yoga on Beacon.

We’ll break down how to confidently teach circular mandala flows — moving around the mat with clarity and intention — and how to mirror your students in a way that feels organized, natural, and strong.

Perfect if you:
• Want to expand your sequencing skills
• Feel unsure about mirroring
• Are ready to elevate your teaching confidence
• Love creative, intelligent flow

You’ll leave with a clear framework you can apply immediately in your classes.

Let’s refine your craft and build something beautiful together.
