I'm excited to announce that starting on March 10th I'll be offering Lomi Lomi Hawaiian style massage sessions. Lomi Lomi is a Hawaiian massage technique that is more flowing with deep, but calming style that mimics the waves of the ocean as an integral part. These sessions are being offered $15 off for the month of March! Book online!

Massage is good for lowering blood pressure and decreasing cortisol levels. Cortisol goes up when we are stressed and long periods of time with elevated cortisol can leave us feeling depleted.

Massage isn't just for those wanting to be pampered. It is for those seeking to stay grounded in their bodies. Feeling fully rested and grounded leads to better focus for whatever goals you have.

Our lives are very centered around technology. As a result many of us have tech neck, carpal tunnel, and shoulder pain that for some sends nerve pain through the arms.

The tightness of these muscles are often the reason for nerve impingement and massage can help reduce that pressure without the need for surgery.

Surgery prevention is my highest goal. See the link in the comments to schedule.

Took a few months to receive this showing that I am able to do jaw work utilizing some intraoral modalities. The work has been surprisingly effective for tech neck and helpful for those who use CPAP machines. I'm really enjoying the work and seeing the results.

Chest and breast massage is so important for alleviating pain with breathing and range of motion in the shoulder. Releasing the anterior wall of the ribcage can assist with neck and shoulder pain, as well as restricted breathing. Tightness of the anterior wall of the ribcage is often a part of why so many folks have that common pain between the shoulder blades. While it is a modality that sometimes elicits jokes, it's been one of the most impactful modalities for those with chronic bronchitis, asthma, anxiety (due to not breathing deeply), injuries to neck, shoulders or chest, and post-mastectomy or post-op top surgery folks. It is especially great for getting lymphatic system moving and reducing inflammation in the area. While I utilize lymphatic drainage in nearly every massage, here it's helpful as bras often restrict lymphatic flow which can cause it's own set of issues. I have specialized in women's bodywork for over 18 years because of a gap in non-invasive modalities and education when it comes to women's health (whether cis, trans or nonbinary) and I have found it powerful work when done in a safe, trauma informed environment.

Starting on July 8th, I will be adding Intra-oral Certification to my skillset. It has been on my top 3 skills I wanted to add for the past couple of years. As many of us has navigated wearing masks, stress held in the head and jaw has peaked. I'm excited to be able to better help those with jaw pain and TMJD.
