The lease is up!

✨ After 7 beautiful, bold, and community-filled months, it’s time to say goodbye to this chapter of the Voices Off Lounge.

We’ve hosted dance parties, storytelling, game nights, ASL classes, private lessons and moments of pure Deaf + q***r joy. We’ve built a space where hands could fly, voices could rest, and connections could grow. And every bit of it was possible because of YOU. 🖖💛

While this location is closing its doors, this is not the end. It’s simply a shift. A pause. A breath before the next big moment. The last day of business is July 31. Stop by before then and join us at the Tea Dance, July 19th.

In the meantime, keep supporting Visually Speaking:
🎓 Take a class
🎉 Show up to an event - ASL LOUNGES
💬 Turn off your voice

This space was always about more than just walls—it’s about community, culture, language, and love. And that lives on.

So here’s to what we’ve created together. And here’s to what’s next.
See you soon. 💖

📚 Check out our cozy little library at the Voices Off Lounge!
There’s a variety of books, from fiction and nonfiction to sign language resources—perfect for all ages, from kids to adults. But here’s a thought: check your sources! Often, books about ASL are written by hearing folks. If you want to truly understand ASL and the Deaf experience, learn from Deaf people. Support and uplift Deaf writers—who better to learn from than those who live it every day?
Got any book suggestions by Deaf authors we should add? Let us know in the comments!

👀 Spotted This A-Board Outside?
This eye-catching sign was created by a local DeafBlind artist 🎨✨ for the Voices Off Lounge—and it’s more than just beautiful. It’s community. It’s access. It’s art that speaks volumes without saying a word. Uplift Disabled artists. Stand in solidarity. That’s how we create change.

So step inside. ✨ Learn ASL. Connect.
Leave with language, culture, and confidence. 💬💫
