While humans have had time to mutated and adapt to dairy and meat consumption, for most of our species' development and history, our ancestors were primarily plant eaters and ate meat more rarely than thought of in common diets such as keto and paleo. Those diets are also on the spectrum from S.A.D to Sapient but they are not the most sapient way to eat like our ancestors.
