Noise-induced hearing loss (NIHL), caused by sudden or prolonged exposure to loud noise, is one of the most common cause of acquired hearing loss, especially for individuals from 17 to 65 years of age.

There are many environments and events (such as sports, concerts, hunting, and jobs in factories, construction or law enforcement that can cause permanent, irreversible damage to your hearing.

The startling data revealed that individuals experiencing social isolation have a 32% higher risk of premature death from any cause compared to those who are not socially isolated.
