Boyer Children's Clinic remains committed to supporting children of all abilities and their families. We're here as a trusted resource to answer questions, provide evidence-based information, and offer compassionate care. Every child deserves support, and every family deserves accurate information and understanding. We're here for you.

Today’s White House event on autism was filled with dangerous claims and misleading information that sends a confusing message to parents and expecting parents and does a disservice to autistic individuals.

We know autism is complex, highly variable and increasingly linked to genetics. Individualized plans, often involving a combination of developmental, behavioral, educational and social-relational strategies, can help improve outcomes that are meaningful to individuals and families. We also need and welcome additional investments in federally funded research to better support families of autistic children.

Families who have questions about their child’s medications, autism care plans or other health care should consult with their pediatrician or health care provider.

Boyer will be closed Thursday, June 19th to observe Juneteenth - a time to reflect on freedom, celebrate Black achievements, and recommit to justice. We hope you'll find your own meaningful way to honor this day, whether through community engagement, continued learning, supporting Black businesses, or contributing to the ongoing work of equality and civil rights.

Our Story

Since 1942, Boyer has been the premier provider of comprehensive early intervention services in the greater Seattle area for children birth to three, serving over 1,100 children and their families annually. Under the medical direction of a developmental pediatrician, Boyer provides therapy, medical consultation, early childhood education and family support services. Boyer's experienced professionals serve children with diagnoses such as cerebral palsy, autism, Down syndrome, cleft palate, spinal muscular atrophy, vision impairment, hearing loss, chromosomal anomalies and speech/language delays. We ensure all children in need of early intervention services receive equitable access to them, inclusive of cultural diversity and linguistic differences, and regardless of their family's financial resources or geographic limitations.

We recently celebrated a significant milestone in our long history: Boyer's 75th anniversary of serving the community. As a nonprofit, we are grateful to the many generous supporters whose investments have powered our work over the decades. Philanthropic partnerships allow us to provide the expert, compassionate care that Boyer is known for to all families who need us.
