š£An Important Message about our Futureš£
Dear Friends,
For many years, our building in Columbia City has been more than just a space. It has been a home for our mission and a source of countless memories and milestones. We are deeply grateful for all the ways you have supported us within these walls.
Today, we want to share an important update: after much thoughtful consideration, the Board of Directors and Executive Director have made the decision to sell our building. This was not an easy decision, but it is one that will allow us to strengthen our organizationās long-term financial health and ensure that we can continue serving our community for many years to come.
By taking this step, we are positioning Southeast Youth and Family Services to focus more of our resources on what matters most making sure our programs, our people, and our mission are supporting families for years to come. While the building has been a beloved part of our story, we know that our true strength lies in the relationships, impact, and shared vision we carry forward together.
We remain committed to serving the families of south Seattle and greater King County. This transition will not change our dedication to the community it will allow us to continue it with even greater stability and purpose.
As we move forward, we invite you to stay connected with us. Your continued support, whether through volunteering, donations, advocacy, or simply sharing our story will help ensure that the next chapter of Southeast Youth and Family Services is even stronger than the last. We know many of you have hoped to visit the building, and we donāt want you to miss that chance. Soon, weāll share details about a final tour and a celebratory send-off opportunity to honor our time here together.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for standing with us. We are proud of what we have built together, and we look forward to continuing this journey with you.
With gratitude and hope,
Executive Director Board of Directors
