A few weeks ago, we hosted another incredible Walker Tune-Up Clinic — this time with the wonderful residents from Mary Schwartz Summit! 💜

Their smiles say it all! We tuned up their walkers, adjusted everything for safety and comfort, and made sure they felt cared for from start to finish — all while they enjoyed coffee, snacks, and great company.

We’ve been loving all the recent visits from local senior living communities! 🚌💬 Residents are coming to our Seattle and Renton stores to get their walkers professionally tuned by our friendly Technititans — from brake adjustments to handlebar tweaks and more.

While their walkers get the VIP treatment, residents relax in our comfy lift chairs, sip on coffee, and enjoy sweet treats. ☕🍪 It's a relaxing, feel-good outing — and totally free!

Our Story

In 2006, we were married and Travis had a dream to buy a business. He chose the then 4 year old company for a few reasons, but one of them was because it was half ‘owner financed’. The other half was kindly financed in the form of a loan from a family member. We were young, just 24 and 25 years old, and no bank was about to lend us the money we needed to buy a business. So, Access Medical Equipment became ours, and it’s been a great decision.

Just about two years ago we moved the business from the tiny location it had been in, to a place about five times the size. It was a scary move, to grow the shop size that much bigger, but it’s been a great decision, thanks to the support of our customers.

So, here we are, 12 years into this Small Business adventure and still loving it. Travis runs the shop and I, Glenda, stay at home with our two girls, Gray and Willa.

When you support a small business like ours, you keep your money in our community. You support not only our family, but also the families of our team members. We try to shop local and small when ever we can, because we know it’s the best for the local economy.
