Community, health, and fun came together today at Big Day of Play 2025! We were proud to join Seattle Parks and Recreation for this amazing celebration of Seattle's diversity and community spirit.

Our team from the Center for Neuroscience and Spine partnered with Seattle Mariners representatives to share valuable health tips and distribute Mariners swag to families throughout the event.

Big Day of Play encourages neighbors, communities, and families to have fun, build relationships, and stay active together. It was wonderful to be part of an event that brings people together while promoting health and wellness!

Thank you to Seattle Parks and Recreation and the Seattle Mariners for this fantastic community celebration!

Meet Julie Uyeda, Inpatient Physical Therapist at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health, who is volunteering at the Boeing Classic to support Benaroya Research Institute's vital work:

"I first heard about the Boeing Classic and the adaptive golf clinic working as a per diem PT in the rehab unit. While I was not a golfer, I figured it would be a good way to give back while using my therapy skills to help adapt golf equipment to best fit the needs and abilities of the participants. It was rewarding to get our participants back out on the golf course. When the Boeing Classic stopped offering this Adaptive Golf Clinic, I transitioned to working the Pro Am. We have a great team of volunteers that continue to return each year. The Boeing Classic is a fun tournament, in a beautiful setting, that brings players, spectators and volunteers together to help raise money for Benaroya Research and other local charities."

We're proud of our team members who give their time to support this important fundraiser for autoimmune disease research!

Celebrating 25 years of bringing life into the world! The St. Michael Medical Center Family Birth Center has welcomed over 45,000 babies since opening, including 2,058 precious arrivals just this past year.
We recently celebrated this incredible milestone with former and current team members who have made our birth center such a special place for families throughout the years.

Our Family Medicine Residency Program continues training the next generation of healthcare providers, ensuring quality care for Kitsap County families for years to come.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of our birth center family over these 25 remarkable years!

Shoutout to our incredible team at St. Anthony Hospital for helping share warmth and compassion with our patients—thanks to a generous donation from Peninsula Subaru! 💙

With 80 cozy blankets, 10 patient care kits, and handwritten messages of hope, our caregivers were able to deliver extra comfort and connection to those healing in our care. These moments remind us how powerful community support can be—and how our team brings that support to life every day.
