QUAD STRENGTH!!!! After 2+ LONG HARD years we couldn't be more proud of our patient .hachmon for crushing her final quad strength test! Some cases can be complicated and this was definitely one of those cases....BUT with the right amount of focus and dedication and a good team by your side you CAN achieve your goals. Way to go Yuli!! Get out there and ski!!

All 3 PT's had a great time going down to Portland for some Continuing Education last weekend!! The sunrise welcomed us to a day full of lectures on the knee and shoulder, with both PT's, MD's, and DO's all giving excellent presentations! Thanks

Rehabbing to get you back to what you LOVE!

Our now graduated patient, Joel, is a professional motorcycle racer🏁 He ended up in our clinic from a nasty crash that gave him an acetabular hip fracture. That’s a break in the socket portion of the hip!

Here, we’re trying to mimic all the stabilizing he does while riding- by pulling on him with a sport cord in all different directions! Joel deserves a gold medal 🥇 for all the hard work he did in our clinic. Good luck with racing!!!

Team Hike! Last weekend the GSPT team enjoyed a late-fall hike to Margaret Lake and Peak! We got so lucky with the weather and enjoyed watching the dogs lose their minds in the forest chasing squirrels. . .

Congratulations to for completing his primary goal in PT if the Portland Marathon! He worked HARD to improve several areas of strength and function to restore tolerance to higher volumes of running. Way to go B!!

Patient success story!

Matt came into the clinic with a torn MCL & partial meniscus tear after a minor ski accident 😉
After finishing 13 appointments, Matt successfully graduated from our clinic. He was very dedicated to his health, and getting back to what he loves most… being outdoors!! He sent this wonderful photo from a vacation in the Rockies spent hiking on his newly recovered knee 😊 Great work Matt!

Success story from our former patient Ere!!

Ere crushed her 9 months ACL rehab with us after sustaining a climbing injury in the fall of 2022. Even though she was chronically a few minutes late coming from work (😉), she always showed up with a great attitude and an eagerness to get better. Her recovery was most notably marked by a 1 month departure back to her home of Baja, Mexico very early on in her rehab, but surprising us with her excellent strength symmetry at her 3 and 6 months post-operative checkpoints. We are excited to see Ere graduate from ACL rehab. You can catch her either at her yoga class, during her HIIT workouts, or running around the neighborhood. Pictured above is when she was running for the first time after her surgery in La Paz ☀️🌊

Getting creative!
Our patient is recovering from a shoulder dislocation that needed a surgical repair. She’s anxiously waiting to get back in the net to save some goals ⚽️🥅 In the meantime, we’re setting up goalie simulations so she’ll return to sport stronger & more confident!!

Hi everyone! It’s been a while since we’ve introduced the team on our social media pages.

We have some amazing people working here. So, to start us off, let’s introduce Sonya!!

Sonya is our newest team member at GSPT. She graduated from Western Washington University this past winter with a Kinesiology degree. She enjoys everything outdoors! Biking, skiing, and ultimate frisbee to name a few of her favorite things. Oh! And ice cream 😉 She’s pursuing a career in physical therapy, and is excited to keep learning with us!!
