Protein is so important if you’re struggling with chronic inflammation!

It helps with blood sugar stability, maintenance of lean body mass, brain fog, and is generally well tolerated for people with sensitive digestive systems.

If I had to pick just one nutrient to add to your diet for painful periods and endometriosis, it would be Omega 3 fatty acids.

My patients who add it to their diet and supplement regimen report less cramps before and during their periods ✨

Endo belly can be so many things besides a reaction to gluten, dairy, sugar, red meat, alcohol and soy.

When we live with chronic inflammation, and add fuel to that fire with stress, pelvic floor tightness, disrupted bathroom schedules, different environments etc., we can really feel that reaction in our guts.

Eliminating more and more foods often will only make the problem worse.

Next time you have a flare of symptoms, take a step back and look at the whole picture, not just the food. It can be helpful in planning how to respond with a whole system approach rather than a food restriction only reaction.

Tired of the “Endo Belly” bloat? Read this. 👇

Stop scrolling if you’re stuck in a cycle of Low FODMAP restriction and/or still struggling with constipation or diarrhea.

The Low FODMAP diet was made for IBS—but endometriosis is a whole-body inflammatory disease. Recent research (Halfon et al., 2025) shows that things like SIBO and adhesions are often the real culprits behind your GI distress.

My goal? Moving you away from restrictive “forbidden food” lists and toward a sustainable, anti-inflammatory lifestyle. 🌿

I’m breaking down exactly why I don’t use Low FODMAP as a primary approach in my latest blog post.

Happy Registered Dietitian Nutritionist Day! 🥑✨

Did you know that working with a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) can make a huge difference in managing endometriosis and fertility? Unlike the overwhelming (and often misleading) advice found on social media, RDNs are highly trained experts who provide science-backed, personalized nutrition guidance.

Why work with an RDN?
🔹 Evidence-based strategies for reducing inflammation & improving symptoms
🔹 Tailored meal plans to support fertility & endometriosis management
🔹 Support for gut health, blood sugar balance & nutrient optimization

What makes RDNs different?
🔹 Bachelor’s & often master’s degrees in nutrition/dietetics
🔹 1,000+ hours of supervised practice
🔹 National board exam certification
🔹 Ongoing education to stay up-to-date with the latest research

The best part? Many insurance plans cover nutrition counseling with RDNs for FREE! I accept insurance in several states—send me a message to check your coverage and start your journey to better health today. 💛
