SolFuel Wellness will help you restore efficient function to your body and to re-write your physical history.

SolFuel is a functional manual therapy (FMT) practice owned and operated by Nicole Bulow. The FMT treatment approach sets me apart from traditional physical therapy as I work with individuals to restore optimum function. Every body has a history and often times the past sets the body up for inefficient movement and injury. My goal is to help people re-write their history to allow for improved efficiency and performance through functional mobilization and the implementation of core first strategies. Helping athletes, from weekend warriors to Olympians, attain their personal goals is one of the things I love most about my job. WOAH! This is a dissection of fascia! From body worlds. If this doesn’t blow your mind and show you how interconnected the whole system is, then I don’t know what will. The body is so freaking cool…and it’s one body…an interconnected body. A body with lots of moving pieces and parts and yet it is all connected! Find yourself a provider who understands this. If you are still struggling with pain, leaking, soreness, tightness, ect, ect…it’s high time you worked with someone who gets this! Your pelvic floor problem likely isn’t just a pelvic floor problem…it’s a system problem…

What am I protecting?

This isn’t a question I would have asked even a month ago.

I would have asked ‘what is driving this pain?’ And also…’how do I make it go away?”

This isn’t the wrong question but it discounts the wisdom of my body.

It doesn’t take into account what has finally come into so much more clarity for me thanks to some of my mentors…that the musculoskeletal system is the protector.

The musculoskeletal systems number one job is to protect my organs, nervous system and emotions.

The musculoskeletal system is my protector.

I can support its healing if I can figure out what it’s protecting. Is it…
- my organs/viscera
- My nervous system
- My emotions

I think it’s a little bit of all of it.

Options for movement….how many options for movement do you have?

Kids have SO many options for movement!

Why?
Because…
They move
They play
They get curious about how their bodies move
They move in so many different planes of motion

As we move through life we move less and less…and when we do move we are always moving in the same direction…forward…not sideways, not backwards and certainly not twisting and bending

This results in less options for movement.

Good news!
Today is the day…
Start moving like a kid again and regain your options for movement again
