PhRESH's Youth Friendly Pharmacy Network: A network of pharmacies dedicated to providing a safe, welcoming environment for those seeking a prescription for emergency contraception and other sexual health services. The Youth Friendly Pharmacy Network is composed of pharmacies dedicated to providing sexual health services in a safe and welcoming atmosphere to youths and adults alike. This allows for both insurance coverage and easier access to Ella, the most efficacious emergency contraception that is only available by prescription. So women can get better emergency contraception faster and cheaper. Look for the Youth Friendly Pharmacy heart in hands logo to identify our network. Pharmacists for Reproductive Education and Sexual Health (PhRESH) is a student organization at the University of Washington School of Pharmacy. Our aim is to provide health services to the community, educate both patients and providers, and promote the involvement of pharmacy in educating and improving patient access to reproductive and sexual health services.

We had an awesome time today at the UPPOW Health Fair handing out almost 100 free boxes of Plan B and educating folks about their right under WA state law to receive OTC contraceptive products (condoms, Plan B, etc) free of charge through their insurance!
