​We stopped into Saffron Grill to enjoy some appetizers and libations. The dining room and bar area are both sophisticated and cozy.
​Today, we enjoyed a fresh and perfectly dressed Indian salad, vegetable samosas, and spinach naan. They have an extensive imported beer selection, so we indulged in an excellent Belgian brew.
​We have visited Saffron Grill many times and always find the service to be highly trained and very professional—a reflection of outstanding management and customer care.

​Consistantly delicious restaurant.

​Menu Highlights:

​Indian Salad: Chopped onions, tomatoes, cucumbers, and green bell peppers mixed in a tangy fresh herbed dressing.

​Samosas: Two crispy pastries filled with fresh mixed vegetables. Served with a vibrant green mint-cilantro chutney and a tamarind chutney.

Great lunch today at The Score — and wow, did it deliver.
We kicked things off with a shareable plate of dry rub wings that were absolutely irresistible. Crispy on the outside, tender and juicy inside, with the perfect balance of herbs and spices clinging to every bite. The kind of wings that disappear fast and have everyone reaching for just one more.

The special is what brought us in today — and it completely hit the spot. Perfectly seared sea scallops, caramelized just right, crowning pineapple fried rice tossed with scallions, red and orange peppers, sweet onions, and a pop of chili crisp for that subtle heat. Every forkful was a beautiful mix of savory, sweet, and spice.
Outstanding. Satisfying. Exactly what a someting different lunch should be. Yum!

Well deserved chef! Your creative approach to culinary excellence, will be to the benefit of all that will enjoy your new restaurant.

Last night I was invited to the board meeting at the Seattle Yacht Club and was completely surprised with the most meaningful gift: a framed chef’s coat from a community that has shaped so much of my life over the past eight years.

I am endlessly grateful for the friendships, mentorship, and memories built at SYC, and so excited to keep growing this next chapter with a restaurant of my own. Being able to extend that same sense of community to Mama Grande’s, with the support of Commodore Cramer and the entire Yacht Club family, means more than I can put into words.

You will always have a seat at our table.
