🎉Happy 235th Birthday, U.S. Coast Guard 🎉

Did you know the Coast Guard was originally established as the Revenue-Marine by Congress on Aug. 4, 1790? It later became the Revenue Cutter Service in 1863. Then on Jan. 28, 1915, President Woodrow Wilson signed the Coast Guard Act, merging the Revenue-Marine with U.S. Life-Saving Service to officially form the U.S. Coast Guard.
