MAJOR congratulations to our nutrition client and training client for absolutely crushing his weight loss and physique goals! 😱 He came in initially wanting to drop weight for a work event, but over our time together found a love for lifting and movement, began to realize how important water intake was, and completely overhauled his eating habits! He dropped 20 pounds 😱😱😱 He not only fit into the shirt and suits that he had set as his goal size, but he had to get them tailored even more! He is starting the next chapter in his life where fitness and health aren't in the background anymore, and we are so lucky to be a part of it! THIRTY FIVE POUNDS LOST 😱 We came in with a goal of around 22 pounds of loss in 12 weeks and this girl DESTROYED that goal. She made no excuses. She built in exercise. She owned her food and learned about Nutrition. She learned about how food played out when traveling or away from home or in social situations. This is what true fitness and nutrition looks like. IT TAKES TIME! It takes years of lifting, changes, pattern modifications, balance, learning, and growing (maybe even a baby in-between πŸ‘Ά 😱). So proud of our return client for his insane progress over the last 12 weeks! We have been getting him half marathon ready while simultaneously focusing on weight loss. This means very thoughtful refeeds around his training schedule, rest when needed, and some down weeks of recovery when an old injury crept back in! WHERE DO YOU WANT TO BE IN SIX MONTHS?
So many people talk about change but never put that time, effort, or let's face it, STRUGGLE, into getting there. was not that person. She came back to program after a variety of health issues and needed a full reset. Her fitness and movement had always been high, but it had been suffering as a result of her nutrition. She felt heavier and wasn't moving as fast on her trail runs (our other resident mountain goat). Over four months she lost weight, then worked really hard over the following months to reverse properly out WHILE TRAINING FOR HER TRAIL RACES! This meant constant refeeds and being super intentional with how and what we loaded her up with. She was training HARD and LONG runs πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ I'm so in awe of how she changed her body, killed her runs, and showed up for herself despite the MANY challenges life threw at her.
