Call the DOH and let them know what you think about their support of this racist behavior dressed up like care.
Write, call and email the FSMTB and do the same
Buy a ticket to the conference and find a way to protest and not get kicked out. Maybe we all wear Tshirts that say the truths, ask pointed questions, get involved in table talk or room conversations….
We are providing care that has been and continues to be politicized. We have to protect each other.

We urgently request you to PUBLICLY WITHDRAW your sponsorship from the WA Human Trafficking Summit on 1/9. This conference is offering solutions from DHS and ICE - these law enforcement bodies rely on carceral methods to disrupt massage businesses and drive them underground. ICE IS A DEADLY FORCE!
The goals of this summit sound idealistic and faultless, but their “anti-trafficking” narrative hides a RACIST and XENOPHOBIC agenda. This event and their sponsors (FederationWA State Department of Healthsage Therapy Boards and Kitsap County Human Trafficking Taskforce) wish to further criminalize migrant workers on the pretense of “rescuing” them from their workplaces with no understanding of the realities of what’s happening on the ground. Workers need more accessible pathways to the industry, not increased surveillance or criminalization. Instead of inviting workers or listening to their demands, the event will invite DHS and ICE personnel to speak. This is a time where we need to protect our working class, immigrant communities, not EXPOSE THEM TO HEIGHTENED CRIMINALIZATION AND DEPORTATION RISK! stand for the rights, health, and safety of immigrant workers and PUBLICLY WITHDRAW your support of this conference!
