What are we celebrating?
Loss of healthcare for hundreds of thousands of WA residents?
The crumbling of rural based health care?
The cancelling of elections without a vote?

send a message that things aren’t normal. There isn’t ok and there isn’t anything to celebrate this year. All the money could go directly to the nonprofit hospitals who had their funding slashed at 3:00am.
While just wiped s**t in our faces with their out of touch, selfish gross display of wealth.

Sunkissed, sweaty and dog tired. Loving PRIDE. Thank you to the organizers for making this truly a safer space. It was so nice to be able to table at a community festival. So many permit armed guards and I don’t participate in those - no matter how much i wanna.
The community safety folks were great, not alarming and smiled.

Thank you for really being about it. You are leading by example and may your steps echo around and create waves of change.

So much energy wasted on bulls**t when we could be honouring each other. The past few weeks revealed that a photographer took wild advantage of the trust of me, A Sacred Passing and our guests. The labor going into trying to stop the harm feels doubly extractive. We are trying to care for people (for free), run a community house, educate, and have jobs, families and other responsibilities.
To add this drain of resources - emotional, mental and social is harmful.

Peter loved names. He would ask people what their name was and then tell them all about a meaning of their name, its root and the energy it carried. When Peter met Oliver he said, “Oliver- just another guy.” Between Peter’s forewarning and Sally’s mechanisms of protection, I feel like I let my whole community down.

This time my poor judgment, my misplaced trust put people in the hands of someone led by the strings of ego, who was untrustworthy and harmful.

It never should have happened, and I will do better.
Don’t pull an O.L.I (optical lapse of integrity)
