In the PNW it can be hard to say no during the summer.😅

☀️Whens the sun’s out, plans are nonstop, and the pressure to do it all is real.

Here’s a gentle reminder:

- It’s totally okay to spend time resting inside
- You dont have to go to every event
- Life doesn’t end when the summer does (it just gets a bit cozier)
- You aren’t “missing out” becuase your summer plans are different than someone elses
- Stay hydrated!!!

Roommate drama? Yeah, we’ve all been there. 😩

Setting boundaries can be extremely difficult, but without them relationships can struggle and resentment can build.

So what do healthy roomate boundaries look like: 👇

⭐ Clear expectations around cleaning responsibilities
⭐ Talk about noise levels— maybe Karaoke at 2AM isn’t an every week kinda thing
⭐ Plan on how to communicate when issues arrive (they will, it’s normal)
⭐ Agree on visitor stay lengths
⭐ And most importantly: It’s okay to say “no” when you feel uncomfortable with something

Did you know that not all apologies are ~actually~ apologies?

Sounds wild. But hear us out.

Even if your intentions are good, it’s important to remember that just because a sentence starts with “I’m sorry,” doesn’t automatically make it an apology.

A few steps to a good apology:
✅ Accepting responsibility for what was said or done
✅ Verbally recognizing the impact it had
✅ Offering to change your behavior in the future
