New Website, More Tools for You!
Hi everyone! We’re excited to announce the launch of our new website. We call it On Call Dental Temps 2.0!
We spent the past three years testing this new concept of a “connection” service specifically for dental practices looking for temporary dental professional help. No one has ever created something quite like On Call Dental Temps so we were very curious to test this model to see a) would it work for practices and professionals and b) how effective can this model be.
The good news is that this concept has far exceeded our expectations! Practice representatives have shared how quick, simple, and affordable it is to request temporary care and we have received countless “thank you’s” from dental professionals who have used our system to increase their monthly income.
We had some great wins and one loss:
Wins
We’ve helped to connect over 5,000 practices with dental professionals seeking temporary work in over 60 cities across the United States.
Practices that have used our Temp Staffing Message Service report that they began to hear from interested dental professionals within 15 minutes (average) after submitting their request.
Over 3,300 dental professionals across America have joined our community in the past 12 months.
Losses
Our donation model simply did not work. While we greatly appreciate the dozens of donations we received from both dental practices and professionals, it just wasn’t enough to support the monthly expenses of operating a site like On Call Dental Temps. We are glad we tried it as we learned some great lessons!
Today, we are excited to announce that our revamped website has launched with even more tools!
What’s new?
First, we are thrilled to announce that we have added a calendar scheduling tool to the site. This is a tool for Dental Practices and Dental Professional members to offer or find short-term, temporary, or last-minute staffing opportunities in an easy to use, calendar format. We’ve also added a new Member Search system to the site. Want to browse dental practices or professionals that are part of our community? You can now do so with Member Search. Check out what software systems a dental professional has been trained on or what safety protocols a practice has in place. Free memberships for dental professionals. Are you a dental hygienist, assistant or support staff? You are welcome to join and use our community 100% FREE. If you are a dental practice representative, we are now requiring that you purchase a membership to utilize the services we offer. We offer a monthly and annual membership starting at $79.99/month.
