I am Audra Andrews, a licensed Acupuncturist/East Asian Medicine Practitioner and Master Esthetician. My acupuncture work stems from a deep desire to help people overcome their wellness obstacles, both physically and mentally, so that they can live healthier and more balanced lives. My areas of focus include pain management, both physical and emotional; stress/anxiety relief; digestive issues; and
general wellness. I view myself as a catalyst as opposed to a healer. I do not heal the patient, but rather, create the internal environment within which the patient can heal themselves. After obtaining my Master's of Science from Bastyr University and Washington State Acupuncture License, I became certified in Constitutional Acupuncture Facial Renewal, a natural alternative to cosmetic plastic surgery. The results are incredible! This is what led me to my interest in combining Traditional Chinese Medicine with skincare. Our skin is our first line of defense against pathogens, so healthy, unbroken skin is crucial to a healthy body. In Chinese medicine the skin is likened to the lung and large intestine, as they all have the same basic function: to take in everything, to differentiate between nutrient and waste, and to keep what is nutritious while expelling the waste. This is why when we take good care of our skin we also strengthen our body's immune system. I studied Skincare and Esthetics at Greenwood Academy to obtain standard licensure, and obtained my Master Esthetician license under the direct supervision of Dr. Fernando Vega, MD at Seattle Healing Art Center. I am deeply devoted to my craft, and passionate about my vision to create a healthy and balanced community, one person at a time. I receive great joy and fulfillment from my practice and am very excited to serve you.
