Need help getting around downtown? Our SafeWalk program is here for you! MID-funded Community Safety & Hospitality ambassadors are ready to assist you to your destination seven days a week. Just give us a call at 206-441-3303 from 7:30 a.m.-9 p.m. for a walking es**rt. Call about 30 minutes before you plan to leave. Ambassadors generally arrive within 15-20 minutes.

In contrast, exposure to light later in the evening can delay the production of melatonin, the hormone that helps you fall asleep.

Many people also have trouble adjusting their sleep schedule to the new time. For the first few days or even a week, they may go to bed later or wake up earlier than usual, which can cause sleep deprivation. One study found that the average person gets 40 minutes less sleep on the Monday after DST begins compared with other nights of the year.

I have stopped taking all insurance as of last year. Please check with your insurance carrier to find a therapist on their list. If you can't find anyone who is on the list taking new clients be sure to contact the insurance commisioner and report it. Insurance companies are required to have an adequate network of therapists in your area.

Massage therapy can relieve pain and stress. It works by calming the nervous system. The research we have shows it also works best for helping with anxiety and depression.

My forte is working with challenging pain issues using a unique method of triggerpoint therapy. Triggerpoints are those 'knots' that radiate pain and feel lumpy under the skin. They can be caused by a combination of postural stress, lack of sleep, diet and many other things. The process usually works like this: One session will show a significant improvement but the pain may come back within a week or so. Follow up sessions may be needed but not always to complete the process. It usually takes 3-6 sessions for most conditions to resolve depending on how long you have had them.
