Dana Walton spent five years documenting the quiet rise of Friday Harbour, a lakeside resort community she's called home since its earliest days. Her photography, grounded in minimalism and emotional storytelling, captured everything from raw foundations to still, often overlooked moments of natural beauty.

But when a fire impacted the community, this project shifted. It wasn't just a visual time capsule anymore—it became a tribute to the resilience of those who call Friday Harbour home.
