Pelvic health isn’t just about pregnancy or postpartum. Your pelvic floor muscles connect with your bladder, bowel, hips, spine, and even your nervous system.

When these muscles are weak, tight, or uncoordinated, they can contribute to:

❗️Low back or hip pain

❗️Jaw and neck tension

❗️Stress-related pelvic discomfort

❗️Urinary or bowel changes

At Renew, our pelvic health specialists provide trauma-informed, personalized care to address these challenges. From manual therapy to guided exercise, we help restore strength, balance, and confidence.

Because pelvic health isn’t a niche — it’s an essential part of whole-body wellness.

Why wait? In Washington, you don’t need a referral to start PT.

Early access means less waiting, fewer unnecessary tests, and faster recovery.

One of the best ways to celebrate PT Month is to take advantage of direct access.

Weekly Staff Pick: Kelly + The Wave Tool 🌊

When pain or stiffness gets in the way, Kelly often turns to The Wave — a precision tool for instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM).

Why she loves it:
✔ Breaks down tissue restrictions
✔ Improves circulation + mobility
✔ Reduces pain + speeds recovery

Paired with exercise and movement, The Wave helps patients restore function and get back to the activities they love more efficiently.

💡 Experiencing muscle tightness, lingering soreness, or limited mobility? Ask your Renew PT about The Wave at your next visit.

✨ Meet Lhorrana, the newest member of our Renton team!

She’s originally from Massachusetts, attended PT school in Missouri, and now calls the PNW home. Fun fact: she’s an identical twin and a big Formula 1 fan — you’ll usually find her watching races on the weekends with her husband and two pups. 🐾

What excites her most about PT? “Being part of someone’s journey to recovery. I love figuring out the root cause of their pain or limitation and applying my knowledge in a way that makes a real, lasting impact.”

When she’s not in the clinic, you’ll find her kickboxing, playing pickleball, hiking, going to concerts, or enjoying her favorite Brazilian food. 🇧🇷

📍 Lhorrana is excited to grow her career with Renew Renton — be sure to say hi at your next visit!

💡 Lasers in PT? You bet.

Our PT Matt incorporates laser training tools to retrain proprioception, gaze stabilization, balance, and coordination. By attaching a laser to the head, arm, knee, or another body part, patients can track their movement on a wall or target.

This simple tool provides instant visual feedback — making it easier to focus, adjust, and strengthen the areas that need retraining. The result? Restored control, improved movement patterns, and more confident recovery.

✨ Just another example of how science and creativity come together in PT.
