Hi Governor Inslee
(To all who agree send him a message too)
I appreciate and respect the hard work you are doing for our state during this covid 19 crisis. I have a huge request in your already overloaded schedule of concerns. I am a proud licensed massage therapist in the state of Washington for the past 23 years and there has been MUCH MUCH confusion in our profession as to if we are considered “essential” or not under your mandate. The grey area falls under the statements of “medically necessary” because massage therapists who accept insurance have a doctors prescription, so medically necessary, and those of us whose work for medical professionals who are legally considered “essential” like chiropractors.
Could you PLEASE clarify if massage therapists of any kind in the state of Washington are “essential”.
You just did a special mandate for golf, please do it for our profession because there are a people who want to know.

April is National Stress Awareness Month. I think we are all aware of our stresses, here are some helpful ideas to better manage them. I do several of these minus the happiness journal. I replace that with getting regular massages.
