The West Seattle Water Taxi is just a 15-minute ride to downtown, and senior tickets are only $2.50. We explored the waterfront with new native art installations as well as Ye Olde Curiosity Shop, and you can't beat the view of downtown from the water taxi!

Soon after Golee moved into Brookdale Browns Creek, she looked across the dining table and saw a familiar face. Peggy had worked with her at a local school for more than 20 years, and they were reunited once again! Life had brought them full circle, and we can't wait to see them take on this new chapter together. 💙

Residents enjoyed attending the Star-Spangled Spectacular concert featuring the Seattle Wind Symphony! Hosted by KING FM's very own Dave Beck, and featuring guest saxophonist Fred Winkler, the evening included John Williams' "Escapades," a world premiere of Ray Heraty's "Seattle Overture" as well as standards such as Salute to the Armed Forces and Stars and Stripes Forever.

The Locks are listed on the National Register of Historic Places and have been designated by the American Society of Civil Engineers as a National Historic Civil Engineering Landmark.
