CLICHE GRATITUDE POST
We’re grateful for a lot of things, pictured and noted below.
But the thing we’re most thankful for is our people - especially our members.
When we started Bywater 5 months ago, it wasn’t clear if people would do this, let alone do it 2-3 times / week.
But they have. Members show up, often in the dark and / or rain, to sweat and dip, to laugh and meditate, to discuss important topics like what is the most overrated restaurant in Seattle.
By the miracle of hot + cold, they leave refreshed, feeling great, ready for the day (or for bed).
As a thank you - all members get an extra guest pass in December.
Back to the overall list…
We’re grateful:
For the group that brought us into existence, the cold blooded crew known as Coldwater Collective ( )
For our builders, the master craftsmen at Nomad Sauna ( )
For the Seattle Parks Department, for partnering with us to bring this magical experience to Alki and Golden Gardens.
For the awesome people and organizations we’ve worked with:
Yerbana Yoga in the Park ( ), ,
Old Stove Brewing ( , )
Our bagel and schmear supplier - Backyard Bagels ( )
Walking legend Sara Anfuso and Out and About ( )
Our fellow lovers of hanging in the water, Seattle Swim Club .swim.club
For the stunning City we live in. The clean, cold sea. The snow-topped Olympics. The jaw dropping sunsets.
For the hustlers of heat who make this train run. (Separate post on that forthcoming.)
Happy Thanksgiving.
