Day Trip Delights
Our residents had an amazing time exploring the breathtaking Chihuly Garden and Glass in Seattle! 🌿🎨 The stunning glass artwork and beautiful gardens were a treat for the eyes. We loved the vibrant colors and intricate designs. 🌸💚 Can't wait to go back and discover more! "

For over 25 years, Chef Dan has been crafting unforgettable meals and experiences. After sharpening his skills at the Western Culinary Institute, his journey took him from the wilds of Alaska to the historic kitchens of the Old Faithful Inn for its 100-year anniversary, and even to the vibrant energy of Miami’s Bank United Center.

Now, he’s back in the Pacific Northwest, bringing his signature style to Empress—where bold flavors meet heartfelt connections. Dan’s culinary philosophy? Balance is everything. He blends complex tastes with fresh ingredients to create dishes that are both exciting and comforting.

Inspired by his grandmother’s century of wisdom, Dan finds joy in senior living, where every meal is a chance to connect, break bread, share stories, and celebrate life.

Outside the kitchen, he’s all about family—spending time with his wife Marina (from Argentina 🇦🇷) and their playful Cockapoo, Lui 🐾.
