Mask Mandate Lifting 4/3/23
The Department of Health recently announced that masks will no longer be required in WA state healthcare facilities beginning April 3, 2023. We understand that some of you may be relieved by this announcement, while others may feel apprehensive about this change. With much consideration for our patients, our team at Ground Floor Health has decided to honor this new announcement, and starting on April 3, masking will be optional for healthy patients entering the clinic.
๐ค๐คง๐ท However, we do ask that patients and family members coming in for sick appointments continue to wear masks during their visits. Similarly, our doctors will mask up for sick visits, and may or may not mask up for other appointments as appropriate.
๐ฆ As always, patients that are exposed to or infected with COVID must wait a minimum of 10 days, be asymptomatic, and provide a negative test result before returning to the clinic.
Our doctors and staff regard our patientโs health and safety as a top priority and will continue to circulate filtered air throughout the clinic, sanitize exam rooms thoroughly between appointments, and room patients quickly to minimize lobby use. We will continue to offer masks to our patients at the entrance of our clinic, and encourage all who enter to sanitize their hands on their way in. Thank you for your continued cooperation as we navigate this transition together.
