HOW WE'RE KEEPING OUR OFFICE CORONAVIRUS-FREE
🦷🦷🦷
Maintaining a sterile environment to provide our much-needed services to our patients safely is our highest priority. We have some new policies that you’ll want to be in the know about. You can read more about it below. This is a long one, but we think it’s that important.
🦷
What We’re Doing Differently for YOUR Safety:
🔒 We’re Locking Down
We are currently postponing ALL elective and non-urgent procedures planned for our patients until APRIL 6TH or later. For now we will stay open to see emergencies, to treat urgent conditions that might get worse if left untreated, and to finish in-progress treatment. (There will be NO late cancellation fees relating to the virus, period.)
🦷
🤒We ask that no one, patient or staff, come to the office if they are sick. This includes fever of above 99℉, coughing, or respiratory symptoms within the last 14 days. We also ask that no one come to the office if they have traveled (internationally or domestically), encountered a person who has been sick or been in a large group of people within the last 14 days.
🦷
Entry to our facilities, for the time being, is restricted to the patient only and legal guardian (if applicable). Access to our waiting room is currently prohibited to prevent virus transmission through surface contact. We ask patients to arrive no sooner than their scheduled appointment start time and bring any snacks and water they feel they may need.
🦷
We’re limiting our staff to essential personnel only, and controlling access to common areas. Our friendly staff will greet you from a safe distance and we are spacing out to prevent contact.
🦷
For the time being, all patients will need to be screened via a phone questionnaire prior to scheduling an appointment. All patients and any accompanying persons will be screened at entry with a no-contact forehead thermometer for a fever, as well as any respiratory symptoms. To prevent the spread of illnesses, we will require all persons to pass the screenings in order to enter our office.
🦷
😷 Though you’ll always see us clean, hygienic, and wearing masks and gloves, we are really stepping it up a notch.
You will find the whole staff sporting face masks at all times as well as anyone who comes into the office for any reason. You’ll see us constantly refreshing and changing our masks, and we’ll be red-carpet ready in our protective gowns. Anytime we touch anything you can bet we’re keeping our hands covered in brand new sterile gloves and washing our hands multiple times before, during, and after appointments. We’re installing multiple stations for quickly refreshing protective equipment and hand sanitization.
For our patients, we’ll be using rubber dams and using oral rinses proven to kill the 2019 novel coronavirus in the saliva.
🦷
We’re Here for You Remotely, Too 📞👨⚕️👩⚕️
Our doctors will be available for remote advice over phone call, Skype, FaceTime, or Zoom to discuss any acute symptoms our patients are having to prevent unnecessary visits to our office. Please call us at (206) 367-6453 or email at info@integrativedentistry.com to learn more.
🦷
Take care of yourselves! We're all in this together, and we will get through this. 💪
