⚠️ post-pride event update!

we’ve just been informed that someone who attended our pride event on sunday is symptomatic &
had a positive rapid test.

risk of transmission is obviously lower since we were all in high quality masks, but if you attended, please consider monitoring your symptoms, testing, & taking extra precautions.

an updated guide to requesting from us ✨

things that have changed since we first started:
1. we now consistently have rapid tests in stock! we have a set number per person we give out. (coming soon: DIY sip valves 👀)

2. in addition to the Capitol Hill Farmers Market (Sundays, 11 AM to 2 PM), you can now also choose to pick up your request from during their store hours. (note that masks are optional in their shop on Fridays and Saturdays.)

3. we have a few more print materials you can add to your request. see the full list linked in the request form. for our best selection of zines and flyers, stop by our table at the farmers market!

Slide 2: Step one: Find the request form in our bio. Use the individual form to request items for yourself, your family/household, or your mutual aid group. Use the event form to request masks and/or tabling for events. Graphic of a cat in a green car driving on a curving road.

Slide 3: Step two: Complete the form. If you request kids’ masks, note the age of the kids so we can pick the best size. If you request print materials, note which materials and how many copies of each you want. If you choose farmers market pickup, choose a Sunday for your desired pickup date. Graphic of an alligator in an orange car driving on a curving road.

Slide 4: Step three: Get your items! We’ll contact you when your items are ready for pickup or to coordinate delivery. See our form for current expected turnaround times. Please wear a mask at the handoff, if you can! If we don’t hear back from you, we’ll cancel your request—but you can resubmit! Graphic of a rabbit in a red truck driving on a curving road.

boosting a request from a community member again: help a 🍉 family stay warm!

an update on this ask: $70 away from this goal! Help a Palestinian family stay safe and warm as they begin to rebuild. Zahir’s family needs higher quality supplies to secure their shelter better, ongoing help for necessities, and longer term care and support as they begin rebuilding with their community.

alt text: what you can with a comrade supporting their family in Ga-za. Zahir is the sole provider of their remaining family. after experiencing a devastating pregnancy loss last year, Zahir’s older sister, Maryam, and her remaining son need ongoing support to survive the winter months. they are in need of shelter, warmer clothes, blankets, and medication to treat their skin infections. please spare what you can! every bit matters.
