đź’– February is American Heart Month! đź’–

Did you know that recognizing the early signs of cardiac arrest can save lives? Cardiac arrest can happen suddenly and without warning, but knowing what to look for can make all the difference.

Usually, the first sign of sudden cardiac arrest is the loss of consciousness. Typically, the person collapses and doesn’t respond or breathe normally. They may gasp or shake as if having a seizure.

We talk about when to replace AED pads and batteries but when should you replace your AED device? There is no one size that fits all the answers, most manufactures suggest replacing AED Devices after 10 Years. Now many companies are requiring their AEDs to be replaced once they are out of warranty, eight years. We are currently offering a one for one rebate of $100.00 to $300.00 when replacing your AED with a Philips Onsite or FRx AED.
