Bayview is a 62+ Nonprofit Life Plan Community located in the heart of Seattle.

Bayview is a beautiful 62+ nonprofit Life Plan Community located in historic Queen Anne, Seattle and is home to over 200 residents living in Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Skilled Nursing & Rehab. Bayview also has a staff of nearly 200 wonderful and diverse employees representing more than twenty countries. We are driven by our mission of ‘Transforming the experience of aging’ and guided by our core principles of community, integrity, and purpose. Our staff tenure ranges from newcomers to veterans who have given over 4 decades of service to Bayview! Bayview is truly a community of unique individuals who exist in a warm, supportive environment. The Intergenerational Children’s Center, for children six weeks to six years, lends a special youthful exuberance to life at Bayview.

We recently welcomed Melody Ip, writer for Seattle’s Child magazine, who spent time getting to know our one-of-a-kind Intergenerational Children’s Center. Yes, that’s right! We have a children’s center inside our senior living community! Enjoy a few behind the scenes moments and stay tuned for her upcoming article spotlighting our unique program.

We are fortunate to have resident volunteers spend quality time with our Intergenerational Children's Center students. Through these meaningful connections, residents share their life-time's worth of wisdom, knowledge, and love. While most of our students are from the outside, some of our staff's kids and resident's grandkids have also been students! Resident Mary Body is just one of these residents whose great-grandchildren attended the Center. Mary reflects on her time with the students as a huge impact on both her family and the greater community.

Today, we honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. His vision of justice, dignity, and equality continues to guide us as we strive to build a community rooted in compassion, inclusion, and respect. Beyond sharing his message far and wide, we must live out his words. Let us continue to honor his legacy through action, both as individuals and as a community.

We are proud to share that Bayview has been named one of the Top 50 Continuing Care Retirement Communities in the United States for the third consecutive year. In 2026, Bayview also earned the second-highest ranking in Washington State in Newsweek and Statista’s America’s Best Continuing Care Retirement Communities list.

As we celebrate this achievement, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to our residents and their families for their trust and support. We remain dedicated to enhancing the lives of our residents.
