Oh my goodness Caffrey 😍🐾

Say hello to Caffrey, the adorable Australian Shepherd pup who can’t get enough of paddle boarding!
Caffrey underwent a right hind limb amputation and suffered an injury to his left tarsus. To support his tarsal instability and restore his mobility, he was fitted for a specially designed custom orthosis.
Caffrey has shown incredible resilience in his device and he continues to enjoy an active life, engaging in activities like playing, swimming, and embracing his adventurous spirit. 🐶
Caffrey’s story highlights the advancements in veterinary care and the positive impact of supportive devices in assisting animals with physical limitations. It serves as a reminder that with proper support and determination, animals can adapt and thrive even after significant injuries. Just keep swimming Caffrey!💙

Meet our certified orthotist and clinical prosthetic resident, Kat. She is an incredible advocate for our pediatric patients. She found her true passion for prosthetics & orthotics while working at a veterinary clinic. Kat’s lifelong dream is to own a P&O clinic that serves predominately animals and pediatric patients.
