At Cancer Treatment Navigator we work hard to help cancer patients gain earlier access to better drugs. This article from the WA Post gives good insights in some of the problems...and first legislative attempts to improve this unfortunate situation.

Insurers often require prior authorization for new drugs, leading to treatment delays. New laws may force plans to make exceptions and speed up the process.
