✨ 2021 ✨ this has been a tough year, adjusting to working in person again at a school full time along with all the other pains the pandemic has brought on. But I have to say I’m really proud of sticking to my art, selling my first gallery painting and vending my first market. And painting two murals (twice as many as last year ;) ). I had a lot of big goals for this year and I managed to actually hit a few of them! Thank you to everyone who has liked or shared my art this year, and an extra big shout out to those of you who even bought something 💜 I appreciate you guys!!! 💜 for 2022 I am going to start writing my first graphic novel and I’m so excited… my brain is overflowing with ideas and I can’t wait to get them all down on paper!!

29. Visualize your inner demon (and make friends with it).

This is something I’m working on in ✨ therapy ✨ and it feels good to put it down on paper. We all have inner demons. Might as well make them cute and give them silly little names. What should I name mine?

22. A SURREAL EXPERIENCE ✨ Mud bath in the clouds! When I first moved to Australia I went to a music festival with an incredible group of friends I had recently met. After a night of dancing we watched the sun rise and then walked out to the middle of a salt lake. The clouds were perfectly reflected in the surface, we blew giant bubbles that bounced around and further reflected the sky ❤️ and then we dug a hole with a shovel and took a big salty mud bath together, it was so much fun!! We paraded around covered in mud like little monsters. (We also got mud baths banned as we kinda destroyed the showers getting clean again lol). That experience solidified our friendship and set the tone for my time living in Perth. I can’t wait until travel restrictions drop and I can visit again some day. 💜 love you my Far Away Tree Tribe!

Day 14: YOKAI (two weeks down, two to go!) I had to do Sawako from Kimi no Todoke 😆 this manga is so cute (I’m a little over half way done with it). Sawako is constantly being mistaken for a ghost because of her appearance and her name being so close to Sadako (the girl from the ring). She also seems to always do things that accidentally appear creepy and spooky…. But she’s actually a wholesome angel I love it.

POISON // SOMETHING YOU’D LIKE TO UNLEARN ✨ anyone remember drinky crow from ? Hehe. These prompts combined made me think of all the poisons we use everyday that I’d like to unlearn. I’m generally pretty good at moderation but it never hurts to improve. Sugar, drinks and social media are definitely 3 things I could always consume less of 👀
