WE REMEMBERED , WE HONORED and WE UNITED

Patriot Day, also known as 9/11, is observed every year on September 11th in the United States. It is a national day of remembrance to honor the nearly 3,000 people who lost their lives in the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001, in New York City, Washington, D.C., and Pennsylvania.

Thank you to all residents who shared their stories and special thanks to our special guest Lito and Marie we’re glad to have you both.

Park Place Residents Deception Pass Van trip 🚙

Deception Pass is a strait separating Whidbey Island from Fidalgo Island in Washington state, known for its dramatic scenery and the iconic Deception Pass Bridge. It's a popular destination for outdoor recreation, including hiking, kayaking, and exploring tide pools. The park spans both islands and offers a variety of activities, from scenic walks to challenging hikes, and is a must-visit for those exploring the Puget Sound region.

We wanted to Acknowledge our beautiful van driver Ms.Grace for keeping us safe for every van trips, on behalf of Park Place Administration and Residents ,Thank you!❤️

4th of July Celebrations 2025

The 4th of July (Independence Day in the U.S.) is one of the biggest national celebrations. It commemorates the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, when the thirteen American colonies declared freedom from Great Britain.

We also wanted to say Thank you to our guest David, for singing with us and for sharing your talent, we are happy to have you here!

Park Place Leadership Retreat

Harbor Sunset Dinner Cruise was an unforgettable dining experience aboard a beautiful Waterways yacht-complete with the finest culinary offerings, friendly attentive service and stunning views of the Seattle Lakes and city skyline.

The evening started with champagne toast, or sparkling cider toast and delicious dinner and a decadent dessert.

This is a perfect time to unwind from stress without having to worry about the pile of documents or deadlines.

Each Department head discussed their last four (4) months’ goals and shared their goals for the next four to six (4-6) months.

This was followed with sparkling toast to Crystel’s Birthday, (her actual birthday) and presenting her the money cake as a present from all department heads.

Thanks to Crystel our Activity Director and Maura our Executive Director for their generosity making this unforgettable and most enjoyable cruise happen.

The Museum of Flight is the largest independent, non-profit air and space museum in the world. With over 175 aircraft and spacecraft, tens of thousands of artifacts, millions of rare photographs, dozens of exhibits and experiences and a world-class library, the Museum and its people bring mankind’s incredible history of flight to life.

Park Place residents/ staff were very excited when they found out there will be a performance from a Filipino husband and wife despite very short notice.

Sweet notes band music: a Filipino husband and wife duo who pours their hears into every song they sing- from timeless classics to today’s heartfelt hits.

The performance demanding schedule has prioritized this special performance for Park Place residents.

The first chords of familiar melody filled with a wave warmth spread through the dining room. Heads perked up, some tapping their feet, others humming softly, others got up and danced away with the staff.

At the end of the performance few residents stood up and with a gentle voice approached the performers and said, “Thank You”, their words sincere, “You brought us back to a time we haven’t felt in a long time.

That day, it was learned that a concert for seniors is not just entertainment. It’s about enduring the power of music and human connection.
