I’m looking forward to joining Linda Pressman and connecting with the community tomorrow to share creative coping strategies when dealing with cancer. From their site: “Cancer is so much more than a physical experience. It is an emotional experience. For some it is a spiritual experience. So to heal from a cancer experience we need to address all aspects of it. Join us for a webinar on Creative Coping as we explore out of the box ways to process our cancer experiences. We'll touch on many unique opportunities and how they may help, and we'll take some time to explore two specific modalities: writing and meditation with two amazing experts. This webinar is open to anyone impacted by cancer.”

"When my friends are struggling, I listen to them.
I didn't realize I haven't been listening to myself when I'm struggling." A beautiful insight from a Mindful Self-Compassion participant.

How about you - when you feel like crap, do you listen to yourself or do you cut yourself off before you can even acknowledge your own hurt?

I’m not allowing real estate in my heart to be taken up by toxic waste. If I want to be part of the change I want to see in the world, I need to lighten up my load so I can be an effective advocate for change. 🥰
