COVID-19 Update: Emergency Treatment Only Until May 18, 2020 or until further notice
Like many communities across the globe, Seattle has been hit hard by the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. At Madrona Family Dental, it is our primary mission to look after the health and safety of our patients, our staff, and our community. As the enormous scale and human impact of this pandemic becomes increasingly clear each day, our hearts go out to all who have been affected.
Our state government has issued a proclamation that prohibits dental offices from providing any non-urgent, elective services until May 18. This is a drastic measure which was not taken lightly and which we believe to be appropriate considering seriousness of the threat posed by this virus. If you have an appointment within this time period, we will be reaching out to you to discuss alternatives and to make a plan for the resumption of the oral health care we provide you once circumstances permit.
We will be available during this time to see our patients who have urgent needs, and there will be very specific protocols followed for such appointments in order to provide the care that is needed while also ensuring that there is minimal risk to our patients, our staff, and our community. We will maintain a limited presence in the office during this time, but will be checking telephone messages and emails regularly.
We thank you for your patience and understanding during this unprecedented crisis. Please be safe and observe the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) in your daily lives, the health and well-being of your neighbors depends on it!
Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water are not available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
