The pain doesn’t get smaller, you get bigger. And the pain does get smaller, if you’re big enough to feel it all. And we are big enough to feel it all when we allow ourselves to be deeply cared for by each other and Mother earth and God. Opening to love really is the answer, even though it hurts.

After a decade of relying on Instagram to promote my business, I’ve decided to delete the app and to take a big pause from having a social media presence. What a wild ride it’s been, to experiment with being myself out loud on this platform.

I’ve loved the ways that Instagram helped me to connect with like minded women who are also desperate to feel alive!! So many of you have taken big risks to be wild and weird with me and I’m truly honored to have been present to so many good conversations and so much healing through the past 10 years.

For now, I’m scaling back all aspects of my work in a big way because I feel called to bring my childhood dream of being a stay at home mom to life!

If you want me to send you my thoughts on life and my quarterly playlists DM me your email and/or your address…I’ve been pondering how I might use snail mail to stay connected! 🐌 I will keep my account live for a few more days if you’d like to share stories or say goodbye for now!

Hello from the cave of the fourth trimester! 🙋🏻‍♀️ It’s cozy in here. Lots of candles and fireplace fires and soup from friends and blurry eyed mornings. I’m feeling a little stronger every day, and enjoying these slow days with my family. Caleb’s birth was beautifully supported, and getting to know his little being is a joy! I’m tired, but full of the enjoyment of following my souls path more deeply into motherhood.

One of my most accessible creative mediums for me is the art of the playlist, and I made one for us. This one is for you if you’re in the - everything is hard and feels like it’s falling apart but I’m exactly where I want to be - phases of life. Songs that straddle the worlds of existential crisis and domestic bliss. These are the songs that I’ve been dancing, rocking, walking, and cooking to. As my son Miles so wisely stated this week, sometimes music saves us. I hope these catch you right where you are. You can find it in the link in my bio!

I’m winding down my work as I prepare for my final weeks of pregnancy. Tomorrow is my last class at in 2024. I’m so grateful for the ways this early morning Sunday time helped to give me a platform to drop the shake from my teaching voice, and the creative freedom to find what feels like my style of intuitive leading. There are so many aspects to my work I love, but teaching this class is my favorite one. I’m going to miss my public facing teacher self so much! I’m going to miss seeing your faces! Will you please join me for one last chance (for a while) to breathe, flow, and dance with me? 9am. See you there!?

Longing, desire, jealousy, wanting - these are all shades of yearning that guide us to our soul. We might be inundated with many different thoughts about what we should have or be - but true longing is defined by an internal ache. Softly fluttering wings in your sternum that beckon you towards what is meant for you. The vulnerability of feeling and facing what it is we want is excruciating, because there is always a period of time when we have to feel the pull of our wanting and the pain of not having - yet.
My longing is drawing me inward - to the circle of my family as I prepare to give birth and nourish a new life. My maternity leave starts at the end of September! I have three more public classes where we will explore these themes of longing and belonging. I hope to see you before I fully descend into my birthing cocoon!! I am hoping to find warm and respectful practitioners to sublet my space while I’m on maternity leave October 1st - April 1st. The office features large windows, lots of plants, and a brand new Room + Board chair. Access to a kitchenette, bathrooms, heating, air conditioning, and internet are included.

- Days available : Wednesday + Thursday
- $175/day/month or $300/month for both days! Six month lease required.

I’m seven months into growing my second son and the cost of motherhood will never cease to amaze me. Pregnancy requires us to turn into the underworld of living death - dying to ourselves in order to bring new life forward. I’ve been moving through so much grief these past months - mourning all the parts of myself and my community I’ve needed to neglect in order to be fully available to this growing life inside.

I’m pulling my energy way back and in. Taking in more care than I’m giving. Trusting that the flow of life force will return once I’m out of the cave of early motherhood. I’m right where I need to be, and I miss you.

Carter and I call our virtual workshop Fruiting Bodies because we know how to lay the subterranean infrastructure to help your expressive instinct blossom, in the same way the mycelial network supports the fruiting body of the mushroom.
