BNI Chapter: West Seattle Champions BNI Chapter: West Seattle Champions Did you know, more than 50 of West Seattle's most successful small business owners meet weekly for breakfast?

Every Thursday morning, each member of the BNI (Business Networking International) West Seattle Champions chapter gets to talk about their business, share testimonials about each other's work and pass along referrals. The meeting is organized, lively and a lot of fun. How many other small businesses and sole proprietorships have the luxury of a 50-person sales force? Only one member of each profession is allowed to join a chapter. All members must uphold the highest standards of their industry to remain in good standing. The West Seattle Champions meet every Thursday at 7:45am at the Alki Masonic Center located at 4736 40th Ave SW, Seattle, WA 98116. BNI members, on average, increase their business 20% the first year. Our chapter is a dynamic, committed group of business people who know how to refer business to each other. We have open categories for individuals who will bring enthusiasm and integrity to our meeting. That's a wrap, folks!
Ending our leadership term on such a high note. The West Seattle Champions just blew by our stretch goal and tallied $1,290,238 in TYFCB!

Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to get us there, especially my side kicks Nancy Spiro and Erin MacCoy, who gave tirelessly of themselves week after week for 52 weeks to lead this chapter to big things. I'm so proud of us.

Wishing the next leadership team a smooth transition. We are here to support you, and are looking forward to what you will bring to the Champions this next term.

Reflecting on 5 years in BNI
Many people stayed and some had to fly
Though it was often hard to say goodbye
Our relationships have endured by & by

I came to the group as a solo business owner
Often feeling isolated and bit of a loner
With support and some great mentors
I began opening new doors

I shared referrals and received some too
And started to feel like part of the crew
I felt the uplifting humanity
Through the challenges and calamity
We found a new sense of unity
And a new kind of family

What could be better than slaying our dragons together?
Knowing we are part of something bigger & better
All because I became a grateful gainer
When I learned to be a thoughtful giver!
