Watt Dhammacakkaram, the oldest Khmer Traditional Theravada Buddhist monastery and community center in Seattle, has been a cornerstone of the Khmer American community since the early 1980s. Upholding the principles of the Buddha’s teachings, it fosters spiritual growth, cultural preservation, and social unity. Alongside its spiritual mission, KAMRISE plays a crucial role in meeting the evolving communal needs. From youth programs to senior services, it strengthens social engagement across generations, ensuring that cultural traditions and community bonds remain vibrant. Together, Watt Dhammacakkaram and KAMRISE serve as a beacon of wisdom, compassion, and connection—preserving heritage while supporting the growing needs of Khmer Americans and beyond. We welcome everyone regardless of personal belief systems, religious, color, ethnicity, political sense background.
