Todayβs challenge from βs
challenge it to create a βShelfieβ. She encouraged me to gather a group of things that represent me β(perhaps on aΒ shelfΒ β hence the cute name β or just on a table), and shoot a photo of it!β
This was a fun challenge! How to choose only a few items??? I decided to keep it simple (I have 4 planets in Taurusπ’π’π’π’, after all!) and hereβs what I came up withβ¦
1. My morning beverage! A jar of juice.π₯¬πThis one contains organic veggies from my local farmers market .farm farm - micro greens, baby bok choy, & cucumber. The rest from - lime, fennel, apple and pineapple. This tastes like LIFE!
2. A painting by me (acrylic on board).π¨π§βπ¨The feel of applying paint to a surface is absolute therapy. I love working on board because it adds a sculptural element, allowing me to scrape and dig into the layers of paint and add more. So fun!
3. Candles create a calm mood and ambience.π―οΈπ§πΌββοΈThey are super underrated! I believe that one should light a candle every day.
4. My journal is a trusted friend.πβ€οΈIn 2017, I began a daily Morning Pages practice . This practice offers a safe, nurturing place for my brain dumps, hearts desires, and shifting my relationship to my inner critic.
5. Ganesha sits atop my journal. πΏHe is the Remover of Obstacles and an image that speaks to me deeply. As a person with lots of fixed energy in my natal chart, I can often be my own greatest obstacle! Surrender to win, for fixed energy people!
6. Last but not least, I displayed the Henriot Quimper plate that I purchased at a Montmartre, Paris Brocante last Fall.π«π· I have serendipitously begun to collect pieces of this beautiful, hand painted French faΓ―ence. Vive la France, the place where beauty is NOT optional!
6a. A bonus peekaboo shot on the left of my favorite hair clip! lol.
Thanks , for the inspiration.ππ
