For the entire month of March, 2% of all gross sales from the shop will be donated to the wonderful .

Heartwood Haven is a vegan farm animal rescue & sanctuary providing animal shelter, care, and enriching environments for farm, rescued and domestic animals.

I first bumped into Heartwood Haven when they were hosting a bingo night at . It was beautiful to experience the community showing up in joy to support their work. That moment was not by chance and it inspired me to dream bigger about how vibrant community-building can feel.

In February, Tarot Crow donated $550 to through my 2% for the Animals program. My customers continue to have a positive impact on the lives of animals in our community just by shopping small with me.

I'm over the moon making this announcement! Tarot Crow will be hosting its first Artist of the Month event in March, featuring Yoshi Yosh*tani!

Yoshi will be in Seattle for (Booth 23003) and will join us the Monday after for deck signings, mini-readings and more.

Tickets are $25 and include your choice of "Tarot of the Divine" or a pre-order of Yoshi's upcoming "Oracle of the Divine", available in May. (Link in bio)

Guest reader today!

I'm thrilled to be bringing the divinely talented .with.nico in as a guest reader and shop steward this Sunday. She'll be helping folx choose the perfect deck, consulting on Tarot practice and offering walk-up readings based on availability. Nico and I crossed paths as neighboring Tarot readers at markets across the Seattle area this summer and she's uniquely qualified to hold down the fort while I'm out.

You can expect a high degree of professionalism, down-to-earth reading style and a deep knowledge of Tarot from a seasoned practitioner. I wouldn't let just anyone stand behind the table at my shop.

Meanwhile, I'll be bringing Tarot Crow to the Eastside at the PNW Witches Market!

You'll find a selection of over 100 Tarot & Oracle titles (about half of what I have at Pike Place) and lots of handmade enchantments inspired by the Tarot.

The shop is closed on Friday, January 30th in solidarity with the people of Minnesota. In solidarity with the victims of a murderous and hateful ideology. An increasing number of small businesses in Pike Place and downtown will also be closed.

I was born and raised in Minnesota. The oppression is worse than is being reported or seen on social media. The censorship is real. And if you've ever been outside for a moment in below zero weather, you can imagine the fortitude and seriousness of people surviving the elements to stand up against tyranny in the streets. To stand up for their neighbors. To stand up for Democracy and the promise of this place, not yet fully lost but slipping from our grasp.

ICE must be abolished. Justice for the murdered and all those whose rights have been violated. Period.

My first partner organization for my "2% for the Animals" is , an organization near and dear to my heart. As you may discern from my namesake, I love birds. And Birds Connects Seattle does so much in our community to advocate for our avian neighbors.

I'll be donating at least 2% of gross revenue from the shop to support this fantastic organization through the month of January. As a former board member, volunteer and executive leader at Birds Connect, I know first-hand that this is one of the most impactful organizations in our community. They've worked hard to influence civic leaders to make better policy decisions to protect urban habitat and keep Seattle emerald green.

If you're a nature nerd like me, I highly recommend checking out their new Nature Shop on Olive & 7th Ave downtown Seattle. They have a bit of everything an urban naturalist's heart desires.

Now available at Tarot Crow: Ethical Oddities by

Julia is a local Seattle artist weaving visual stories at the seam between nature and the metaphysical. She handcrafted and painted this series of extinct and endangered butterfly specimens as part of a project to raise funds and awareness for . Butterfly populations have decreased by 20% over the last 20 years, and this series is a stunning and true-to-life expression of what we're losing.

This concept is so radically relevant and I'm thrilled to feature them. We don't need to kill nature to appreciate it in our homes. These are 100% vegan while capturing the intricate beauty of these beings, lost to time or on the brink.

These are the last remaining six originals out of twelve. I look forward to having more of Julia's spectacular work in the shop soon.

I promise to myself & to you to do my best to live up to these commitments & operate a virtuous business, rooted in integrity. I refuse to lie, cheat, steal or kill to make a living.

100% Vegan Handmade Goods
All Tarot Crow handmade products are 100% free of the flesh, bones, excretion & biproducts of sentient beings. I am a long-time ethical Vegan & take great care to exclude all products of animal exploitation in my home, workshop & practice. All handmade products from featured artists are vetted as 100% Vegan.

No Synthetic Fragrances
All of my handmade products are scented only with botanical elements, primarily essential oils & herbs. Synthetic fragrance oils are potent & cheap but hazardous to human & animal health & the environment. Nature produces so many gorgeous & powerful scents. I’ve found that volatile chemicals are not necessary to make aromatically beautiful & functional goods.

Freedom from AI
My Tarot practice is free from the use of AI. All of my products, recipes & content are created without the use of AI. To the absolute best of my ability, I refuse to carry products that have used AI in their creation. My shop is a monument to human creativity, intuition, intelligence & the nature in which they evolved. AI is robbing us of these virtues to further enrich disgustingly greedy men.

100% Authentic Decks
The market is flooded with cheap counterfeit Tarot & Oracle decks from Temu, AliExpress, Etsy & Amazon. Working with a stolen deck is troublesome for any practice. Counterfeits rob authors, artists & publishers of an honest living. I only buy & sell authentic decks.

2% for the Animals
Starting in 2026, I will donate at least 2% of my shop’s gross revenue on a monthly basis to non-profits advocating for animals & the cause of animal liberation. Systems of animal exploitation disproportionately harm marginalized humans, communities & their environments.

It all boils down to a simple truth:

There are a thousand ways to get around Pike Place, but here's the simplest way to find my shop:

Head to the giant "Public Market" sign on 1st and Pike. Take the stairs down one level and take a right onto the 5th floor. I'm just ahead, between Ventures Market and Balcony Barber at the top of the stairs.

I'll be there every day except Tuesday 9-6. And by appointment Tuesdays for readings and private shopping.

It's official. Tarot Crow is a permanent tenant of Pike Place market. I couldn't have dreamt up a more perfect nest for the next chapters. Perched on high, bathed in light, hidden in plain sight. This little space is going to change a LOT in the coming days, but first I'm sharing the blank canvas.

This was occupied by the previous owner for 40-some years. A lot of my life will be happening between these walls and windows, and maybe some of yours. I could tell you everything that's coming but I'd rather show you. Stay tuned for updates.

Located on the 5th floor, one floor below street level. Right underneath the iconic neon sign. My neighbors are Balcony Barber Shop and Ventures Market, at the top of the stairs.

My doors will open to the public on Tuesday, December 23rd at 1pm.
